I am not a huge SB/PB person, I like them and have started to make aircraft for a small project I am doing, I know very little of SB Scale but assume the aircraft I am doing to be close to SB scale.

I am making these for a scale MSpaint airport, Inspired by mcspyder1 and his recent airports. but sadly the aircraft top downs in the scale I wanted didnt exist and shipbuckets planebucket seemed to be a scale that seems useful for me, But the aircraft I wanted didnt exist, It appears that most of planebuckets top downs are military aircraft. I am slowly finding some of them I could have used here on DA. Maybe I could start a trend on getting airliners done in SB Scales top down views.

On the subject of mspaint stuff, I found that Windows Paint 3D has a nice feature of letting you paste transparent png's into it and letting you rotate then, So this could be useful in my airport project.

But for now, here is my airport for now: 

Just working on the terminal for now, But I plan to have at least one end of a runway in there as well as a cargo apron, Also need to work on some airport support vehicles in SB Scale.

Its been a year since my last update.

Some things have changed, some are different, I am still into trains and planes, Still collect police lightbars, This summer I started out with 7 full size and 1 mini, I have a tiny apartment and they take up massive space, Sold 2 of them with small profit, but mostly just to get rid of them, threw out 2 others as I killed one of them trying to fix it up and the other was a parts bar, Now I just have 3 full size and 1 mini, I am in the process of turning the Liberty Bar into red and blue, My streethawk just became red and blue, and my Arjent is on craigslist trying to sell, I also turned my mini Vector into red and blue from all amber.

This past month, I became a cat papa!
A friend in my apartment building died and I adopted his cat, This little guy is so affectionate but he has some health problems that I am getting ready to go see a vet about, This cat has no proper medical history and needs to be fixed and get his shots. Cat hair is my life now. :3
Little guys name is Spot, His late human named him after the cat that Data had in one of the Star Trek series, No plans to change it so I can honor his memory. Spot is an orange and white tabby I think, Unsure about the specific breed but possibly has American Shorthair in him. He adjusted to his new home quickly and nicely.


I am getting back into flight simulator and doing some private multiplayer with a local friend doing shared cockpit, Its getting fun, we are doing basic default FSX planes but Im getting ready to invest into more complex aircraft, but first, going with the Just Flight 757 Freemium.

Train Sim World is getting ready to release a new DLC which is very relevant to my interests, Commuter train set in the USA and I am so excited about it.

not much has happened in the last year, Bought a new (cheap) laptop in anticipation of planned and unplanned power outages of which we had at least 5 of them during summer 2017, Luckily I changed my phone plan to one that had mobile hotspot half way during summer, Before that, I would just walk my laptop to the library and use their free interwebs, it was only a 10 minute walk each way.

Got a new phone, about 2 weeks before I was going to plop down around $250 on the one I wanted, I got an offer for $1 down plus tax, Was able to get the phone I had my eyes on, the Galaxy S7, came to around $36 up front and no interest payments for 18 months.

This past week, Ive noticed some problems with my mouse, I havent drawn anything recently but the problem would have deeply interfered with it, The mouse is doing the phantom double click thingy, so clicking and dragging would produce a phantom click, an example could be: moving icons from one windows explorer window to another and the phantom click happening right over the quick access pane which would accidentally move the file/s into a folder thats pinned there, Would be annoying with drawing stuff too. The mouse is the Logitech G502 Proteus Core, the last generation version of the mouse I am waiting for delivery, The G502 Proteus Spectrum RGB.

I am still collecting lightbars and have acquired 2 Federal Signal Vector SL's earlier this spring. They are both amber, one is regular sized and the other is the mini 3 pod version. I have no more room for these! and yet I am planning on one more lightbar purchase next month!

I want to stream some games I play, Mostly Train Simulator and Train Sim World(TSW). Really like TSW, Bought it when the Great Western Express(GWE) route was announced and put on preorder, The core game is a freight train route but I prefer the passenger type of operations in the GWE expansion, but you cant buy GWE without the core CSX route game. Hoping they add in support for joysticks soon so I can use my HOTAS throttle as it would be perfect for the Class 166 in the GWE expansion.

Built a Home Theater PC this past January for my downloaded tv shows and movies as well as to be a Bluray player for the movies I buy on Bluray, I have quite a collection of them at 162 movies and still growing.

For the past 2-3 years, I have not had a cable tv subscription, But I started watching streaming tv back in June, started with Sling TV for its cheapness and a good ratio of channels Id use to ones I couldnt care less about, Signed up for 2 months and got a free Roku Express stick, but there were some problems that got to be too much for what I would have wanted, Signed up for a trial of DirecTv Now which gave me a better experience, but the Roku Express wasnt performing great, Went and bought an Amazon Fire TV pendant thingy and now having a better experience with DTVN. I think my ISP is aware of my streaming as they keep calling me to try and get me to switch to their streaming service, The offer some channels I like, but many I wish they would offer, While I pay more for DTVN, their basic lineup is great(60 channels to my ISP's 25).

I now own 2 Lightbars, I have an old Federal Signal Vector lightbar and just recently got a Federal Signal Arjent SL.

I havent been able to fully light up my Vector, but the Arjent is easier to do so on low power.

Plans are in place to acquire a proper switch box controller as well as swap out half of the blue LED's with red modules as well as replace some blue modules with amber to have a proper Signalmaster.
This bar features flashing takedowns and flashing alley lights, might be looking into replacing the takedowns with white led modules and I think I found proper LED replacements for the alleys.

I thought it would take at least another 5 years for me to find an affordable LED bar
